Platinum Games announce Vanquish, plus Debut trailer

Platinum Games have announced their new sci-fi action adventure game Vanquish, from the creator of Resident Evil, Shinji Mikami. Vanquish will have CG scenes produced by Logan, who have previously worked on the intro to Metal Gear Solid 4 for Konami.
The ultimate tactical game, currently a work-in-progress by UK indie developers Mode 7 Games have just released the Debut trailer for their upcoming strategical shooter.
Final Fantasy XIII: Xbox 360 and PS3 run speeds equal

News that will be music to the ears of all Xbox 360 owners, first impressions conclude that there does not appear to be any difference between both consoles.
1UP.com states, 'Final Fantasy XIII runs just as smoothly on the 360 as it does on the PS3'.
Though this was not a direct side-by-side comparison of audio and video, but rather from a divided kiosk seperating the two builds.
The Christmas month was a solid month for the PlayStation Network.
A statement released by SCEA's Patrick Seybold, December 2009 marked PSN's single highest revenue month so far, an increase of 155% from a year ago. Christmas Day was the busiest day on the virtual marketplace
that month. It appears that the classics were on the wish list.

Sony announced that the release date of Gran Turismo 5 has been postponed in Japan from March 2010 to an undetermined date, no reason was given. The North American release has also been postponed until late 2010.
Final Fantasy XIII English International trailer released

Square Enix released the English International trailer of Final Fantasy XIII for PS3 and Xbox 360, which includes the theme song 'My Hands' from Leona Lewis. Final Fantasy XIII will be released in North America on March 9, 2010.

A recent interview with art director Isamu Kamikokuryou by FF-Reunion has revealed that the team involved with Final Fantasy XIII removed enough extra locations from the game that could make up a whole
other game entirely.
Sections that were cut include a secret base for Snow's hero squad, a character's home that included a park and even a zoo inside one of the game's amusement park areas.
